In the agricultural market stables are more and more provided with solar panels so it is no suprise that for heating a stables electric heating solutions are more and more in the picture as opposed to the traditional gas fired heating solutions. Using your own generated electricity can considerably reduce the energy costs. In daily practice a farmer often chooses a combination with gas fired heaters as storage of electricity is still difficult at this time. Electric heating means no CO₂ nor water vapour in the stable. The air humidity remains at a low level and so do the ammonia emissions. The litter remains dryer resulting in less diseases and the yield increases. Also the low sound level makes it more comfortable for the farmer to work in the stable.
